Academic Deans

The Academic Deans help students develop strategies for success by assisting with course selection and major declaration, addressing issues related to credit shortages or overloads, preparing students for internships or studying abroad, monitoring academic progress toward meeting graduation requirements, and nominating students for honors and awards. Because we work with the faculty and so many groups on campus, including the Health Center, the Counseling Center, the Career Development Center, the Weissman Center for Leadership, the Alumnae Association, Student Government, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Affairs, the academic deans are positioned to help students understand the many resources available here at Mount Holyoke College.

To schedule an appointment with your class dean, please call the number below during regular office hours. We also have open hours for brief unscheduled meetings. Some of these may be designated for students in the dean's class. Other open hours are not designated, indicating the dean is available for brief meetings with students in any class.
