The Frances Perkins Program at Mount Holyoke College is a specially designed program for women of nontraditional age who wish to complete the requirements for a bachelor of arts degree. The Frances Perkins Program enables a woman who is 24 years or older to earn a first-rate degree that meets all the requirements of the undergraduate program and offers full- or part-time (two courses) schedules.

The admission process is similar to the process for traditionally aged transfer students, with a few differences. The Frances Perkins Steering Committee takes into consideration many factors, including recent evidence of success in liberal arts courses, work and volunteer experience, and personal qualities such as curiosity and motivation.
