Advanced Hunt Seat Horses

Hayden (Happy Boy) is a liver chestnut Dutch Warmblood gelding, born in 1990. He has a star and a snip on his face. Susan Collins of South Carolina donated him to Mount Holyoke as a well -schooled dressage horse. An incredible athlete, he quickly took to jumping with ease and has since become a favorite draw for advanced riders. Hayden is a wonderful part of the MHC equestrian program.

Beginner Hunt Seat Horses

Lizzie (Just Call Me Lizzie) was donated by Jean and Kevin Tulimeri in the summer of 2005. She arrived at Mount Holyoke looking ready for the Devon Horse Show and hasn't turned a hair since. With a truly beautiful face and a great attitude, Lizzie makes even those who haven’t been in the saddle long look and feel like they’ve been riding for years.

Dressage Horses
Dijon (C’est Vrais), is a handsome chestnut Selle Français gelding, born in 1993. The Parker family donated him in 2003. A successful junior hunter in his earlier years, “DJ” has become a favorite of the dressage program.
