  • Head coach at Mount Holyoke since 1984
  • Extensive hunter and equitation experience as a junior rider
  • Experienced intercollegiate rider
  • Graduate of the equestrian program at Averett College
  • Riding instructor at Averett College from 1980 1982
  • Studied with internationally recognized professionals in dressage and combined training
  • Selected as a rider to train with then-U.S. Olympic coach Jack LeGoff
  • Competed at third level in dressage and at preliminary level in combined training
  • Named a Horsewoman of the Year by Spur Magazine, 1997
  • Awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the I.H.S.A. National Horse Show, Spring 1998
  • Founder of the I.H.S.A. Senior Academic Achievement and National Horse Show Sportsmanship Awards
  • Coached MHC to the coveted I.H.S.A. Millers Collegiate National Horse Show Cup (#1 collegiate team in the country) in 1986 and 2000
  • Coached MHC into the winners circle in 1993, 1997 and 2002 at the Tournament of Champions
  • Coached the winner of the USAE/Cacchione Cup Grand Championship High Point Seat Rider Class in 1990 and 2002
  • I.H.S.A. Zone 1, Region III Regional President: 1986-1988
  • I.H.S.A. Zone 1 Chairperson: 1989-Present
  • Chair of the I.H.S.A. Education Committee
  • Member of the I.H.S.A. Board of Directors: 1986-Present
  • Member of the I.H.S.A. Rules, NCAA and the National Horse Show Committees
  • Organizer of the Intercollegiate Zone 1 Championship Horse Show: 1989-present
  • Organizer and host to the I.H.S.A. National Horse Show in 1989 and 1997
  • Mother of four children
