Student Orientation
Phone: 413-538-2550 Fall Orientation | Spring Orientation
I want to be one of many to extend a warm welcome to you as you prepare to join the Mount Holyoke community. In the Dean of Students office we have been preparing for your arrival since last fall! I work throughout the year with a dedicated group of students, the Orientation Board, and offices around the campus to create an orientation program that will answer your initial questions, get you connected, and give you a taste of all that Mount Holyoke has to offer.
Our orientation theme this year, Challenging Women to Change the World, reflects our commitment to empowering women for the purpose of making a difference. In keeping with the mission of the college, Fall Orientation 2009 begins the process of "educating a diverse residential community of women at the highest level of academic excellence and fostering the alliance of liberal arts education with purposeful engagement in the world.
Feel free to contact my office if you have questions regarding the orientation program. I look forward to meeting you in September.
Sincerely,
Liz Braun, Dean of Students
