About the CDC

The Career Development Center's mission is to help students and alumnae develop the ability to assess, articulate, and apply their liberal arts education and life experiences to a lifetime of meaningful post-Mount Holyoke College opportunities. We work with all students, from matriculation to graduation and beyond, to answer three timely, and timeless, questions:

  • What do I want to do?
  • How do I apply what I have learned?
  • How do I get from point A to point B?

Importantly, we do not view ourselves as a service only for juniors and seniors–we encourage all students to get started using the CDC as early as possible in their time at Mount Holyoke. The sooner you begin, the better chance you have of finding the workshop, internship, or academic program that will send you in a new direction full of possibility and excitement. Our professional staff and peer career advisors are here to help.

Recent Graduates
Mount Holyoke women have a successful track record after graduation. Six to 12 months after graduating, over 90 percent of 2005 graduates were working or in school, with 58% employed full-time and 18% in graduate or professional school full-time at places like Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, and the London School of Economics.
