Internship Registration
Students who are participating in a summer or January internship should register her internship with the Career Development Center. Registration allows students to be included in internship programming and related benefits. Students who receive a Summer Opportunity Award from the Career Development Center are also required to register her internship or research program with the CDC. Student registrants will be automatically enrolled in the Student Experiential Education and Development (S.E.E.D.) program. Registration is easy and online!
Deadlines

Summer Internships: Enroll Now! Registration has been extended and will remain OPEN. (Previously posted deadlines: June 13, 2008 & April 23, 2008 for CDC Summer Award recipients)
January Internships: December 20, 2008 |
Student Registration Form: To be completed by the student.
Sponsor Confirmation Form: To be completed by the student's internship supervisor or intern host organization. Students, ask your sponsor to complete this form by the above deadlines.

Summer Internships: September 1, 2008
January Internships: February 15, 2009 |
Informational Interview: Conduct at least one (1) in-person 20-minute interview during your internship; see Informational Interview Guidelines . Submit a write-up of your informational interview to the CDC by the above deadline.
Intern Performance Evaluation: For your sponsor to complete and he/she should review it with you at least one week before you leave your internship site. Ask your sponsor to complete your online evaluation by the above deadline and inform your sponsor that it should be discussed with you a week before you leave the internship to aid your professional development.
Student Final Report: To be completed by the student. Complete and submit to the CDC by the above deadlines.
Thank you letter to Internship Award Donor: To be completed only by students who are Summer Opportunity Award recipients. Directions will be provided upon receipt of award funding.
Additional activities for your personal and professional development:
- Develop your next steps: Schedule an individual appointment with a CDC counselor to discuss your next steps after your internship experience. Contact the CDC for an appointment cdc@mtholyoke.edu or 413-538-2080.
- Share your Internship experience with the Mount Holyoke Community through various CDC workshops and during the Annual Summer Research Symposium.
- Make the most of your internship experience. Student registrants will be automatically enrolled in the Student Experiential Education and Development (S.E.E.D.) program. This program is designed to maximize student learning and provide on an off-campus networking opportunities to maximize student’s internship and research experience. For more information about this program, you are invited to attend a S.E.E.D informational session. Details will be posted to the CDC Calendar (summer only).
