Directions
By Car
From the
South Travel north on Route I-91, exit at Route 202 (Holyoke-South
Hadley Exit, exit 16). Turn right and proceed on Route 202
through
Holyoke and across the Connecticut River. Continue on Route
202 and take the second exit, marked "South Hadley Center-Amherst," to
Route 116 North. The College is approximately two miles north
of the exit. Pass the main gate of the college; take a right
onto
Church Street; continue down the hill, cross the bridge and
turn right into the Willits-Hallowell Center parking lot.
From the North Travel south on Route I-91, exit at Route 141 (Holyoke-South Hadley,
exit 17). Proceed east on Route 141 until it intersects with Route
202. Turn left onto Route 202 and follow the same directions as
above.
From the MA Turnpike
East or West: Take exit 5 (Holyoke-Chicopee), and exit ramp,
bearing to right, marked South Hadley. At end of ramp turn left
on Route 33 for approximately five miles to Route 116 and drive
two miles north to the College. Pass the main gate of the college;
take a right onto Church Street; continue down the hill, cross the
bridge and turn right into the Willits-Hallowell Center parking
lot.
By Train
The Amtrak station
nearest to South Hadley is in Springfield,
Massachusetts. Call Amtrak at 800-872-7245 for ticket prices and
schedules. You can reach South Hadley by Peter Pan Bus Lines, van/car
service (see below), or taxi.
By Plane
Bradley International
Airport, serving Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts,
is 34 miles (45 minutes by car) south of South Hadley on Interstate
91.
Bus service between
Bradley and the College, via transfer in
Springfield, is offered by Peter Pan. Call 800-237-8747 for
schedules and rates.
Van/car service is the
easiest and most direct way to reach the College, but you must call
in advance for reservations. Valley Transporter (800-872-8752 or
413-733-9700 in Massachusetts) picks up Terminals A and B. The other
car/van service offering direct transport to the College is Michael's
Limousine Service (800-533-8470).
By Bus
Peter Pan offers
service from Boston and New York City to South Hadley, with transfers
in Springfield. For schedules and rate information, call 800-237-8747.
