Nobue received her Sei-Hikitsugi as a teaching license given by the 15th grand tea master in Uransenke, Japan.

“Through the practice of the Tea Ceremony I share with students, faculty and staff the spirits of the Tea Ceremony, “Wa-Kei-Sei-Jaku” which is the Peace, Respect, Purification and Tranquility.

“I perform weekly Tea Ceremonies “Chakai” and often do demonstrations by the request of faculty, alumnae and residential life at Mount Holyoke College. I also perform ceremonies for other colleges, high schools, elementary schools and museums.”
