Types of Financial Aid

SFS Updates   |   Contacts   |   Forms & Deadlines

If a student is determined to have financial aid eligibility, the College puts together a financial aid package, which generally consists of a combination of grant, loan, and work-study aid.  These three types of assistance may be funded by institutional, federal, and state sources.

Financial aid packages are constructed differently depending on different family circumstances and institutional aid polices.  Your aid package may include some, but not all the components described here.
