Take the Lead! SummerAction

Thank you for your interest in our Take the Lead! SummerAction pilot program scheduled to run June 2008. As you are probably aware, the SummerAction program is an outgrowth of Mount Holyoke's highly competitive fall Take the Lead program, which has run for nearly a decade with outstanding results.

As we assess the situation, we are not confident that in this economy we can count on the critical mass of involved, committed participants for the summer program that we regularly have in the fall programs. Because we want to give prospective participants and their families time to make other arrangements, we have made an early decision to revert all of our energies back to our fall Take the Lead program. This means we will not be offering the Take the Lead! SummerAction as anticipated this summer. We apologize for any inconvenience this decision causes.

We will be offering our regular Take the Lead program again in the fall of 2009.
