Public Events
Weissman Center public events bring our Mount Holyoke College community together for invigorating discussion, memorable debate, and inspiring interactions.
Join us each semester for lectures and other events such as seminars, symposia, and community workshops that invite us all to think independently and analytically. Events ranging from discussions about the politics of law and dis/order, acts of environmental reconstruction, women and the military, education and privilege, justice and equity, have highlighted compelling issues and the interests, research, and work of Mount Holyoke students and faculty.
Weissman Center events intensify and deepen our critiques and analyses of contemporary and historical issues that have public, national, and global implications. Our public lectures, student seminars, and community workshops provide invaluable opportunities for Mount Holyoke students to be in direct and meaningful dialogue with leading scholars, activists, politicians, and writers.
